Key Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on technical leadership and implement core architectural modifications, utilizing an Agile programming methodology to deliver commercial software solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest AI research and technologies, assessing their relevance to our business goals.
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code while continuously improving engineering skills in a dynamic and uncertain environment.
- Lead by example, cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, and supporting professional development.
- Work with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to ensure that AI platform designs and implementations adhere to best practices and industry regulations.
- Drive the creation of proprietary solutions that can offer a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of experience, with a minimum of 8+ years in the finance or related industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Solid hands-on experience in Python programming.
- Familiarity with Generative AI chatbots and the capability to implement them successfully.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) or a strong background in data science.
- Proven ability to apply existing models to practical applications rather than focusing solely on model training.
- Experience collaborating on small Proof of Concepts (POCs) with software developers.
- Strong track record of delivering full-stack cloud-based applications.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to execute projects within a small, agile team.
