About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MedSurg RN to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a MedSurg RN, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to MedSurg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification.
