Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with our classroom team to develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- 15 hours of PQAS training or course work in Early Childhood Education within one year of hire (Required)
- 1 Year experience in a center-based preschool or infant/toddler setting (Preferred)
- General Experience and knowledge of Ages & Stages Questionnaires, Ounce Scale, and Work Sampling (Preferred)
- General Experience and knowledge of DPW regulations, Environmental Rating Scale (ERS) standards, and NAEYC Standards (Preferred)
- Pediatric First Aid CPR and Mandated Reporter Training (Required within 90 days of hire)
