ER Nurse

As an ER Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will provide direct patient care within your scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry. You will communicate effectively with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A current and valid state RN License
• A current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• A current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
• A current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
• A minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
