We are seeking an experienced Ship Fitter to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. As a Ship Fitter, you will play a critical role in the repair and maintenance of naval vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize expertise in welding, tacking, burning, and scarfing to perform high-quality repairs on naval vessels
  • Evaluate and inspect damaged areas to determine the best course of action for repair
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution

The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in a shipyard environment and possess a strong understanding of Ship Fitting principles. Proficiency in welding techniques, including FCAW, is also required. In addition, successful candidates must be able to pass a Ship Fitter Welding Assessment.

Requirements:
  • Three years of experience in a shipyard environment
  • Strong knowledge of Ship Fitting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in welding techniques, including FCAW
  • Able to pass a Ship Fitter Welding Assessment
