Job Summary

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Environmental Services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to the Environmental Services team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of excellence by providing leadership, guidance, counseling, and continuing education to staff members.
  • Scheduling and Staffing: Collaborate with staff to coordinate schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet departmental budget requirements.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Assurance: Identify problems and potential solutions to ensure departmental efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee the ordering and maintenance of departmental supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to safety and quality standards, including regulatory compliance.
  • Performance Management: Accountable for efficiency, productivity, quality, and financial performance of the department.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development: May assist in the hiring process and make recommendations for policy and procedure development.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4 years of relevant experience.
