Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Tradesman to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of various equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, as well as experience with refrigeration and steam systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, and HVAC equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform emergency repairs and maintenance as needed, including after-hours work.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to determine installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair needs.
  • Operate, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, controls, and related equipment.
  • Operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure steam boilers, pumping units, vacuum pumps, boiler feed pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Plan and coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair work with other trades areas.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in the appropriate trade area or three years' experience at the apprenticeship level of the trade.
  • DLR-Colorado Driver's License Class R required.
  • HVA-HVAC Supervisor - Tradesmen International or ENG-Stationary Engineer - Tradesmen International required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Skill in obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
