Job Summary:

Position Title: Bakery Artist II

FLSA Status: Hourly

Reports To: Bakery Manager

As a Bakery Artist, you will leverage your creative skills to craft visually stunning and uniquely designed bakery products. Your artistry will help create memorable experiences for our guests during their special occasions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Decorate and finish a variety of baked goods including cakes, cookies, pies, and more.
  • Enhance sales through the creation of visually appealing products.
  • Surpass guest expectations by fulfilling custom orders that align with their specific requests.
  • Minimize waste by accurately measuring and utilizing supplies.
  • Manage inventory by rotating and restocking decorated items on the sales floor.
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish items as necessary.
  • Plan production to ensure sufficient back stock is available for sales.
  • Maintain product freshness by adhering to proper stock rotation practices.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all guests.
  • Assist guests in locating products and taking special orders.
  • Communicate effectively with guests via phone and in-person.
  • Promote Festival culture and service standards within the department.
  • Ensure the cake decorating area is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Support overall department goals by assisting in various tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the department.
  • Maintain food safety logs and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Exhibit regular attendance in accordance with the work schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

WORK SCHEDULE:

This is an hourly position with a schedule that typically includes mornings, afternoons, and weekends, with flexibility for evenings and holidays as needed.
