Athena Health Care Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy program at Abbott Terrace Health Center in Waterbury, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of patients and residents.
  • Supervise and direct staff in the provision of therapy services, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless care transitions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial, operational, and productivity reports to inform program development and budgeting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of statistics, patient outcome data, and billing logs.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure by the Board of Allied Health Professions.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of clinical experience and 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
