The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at VCU Health is seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with high-risk pregnancies, including labor and delivery coverage, in- and outpatient consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, management of high-risk pregnancy, and performance of specialty-specific procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Actively participate in the department's educational activities, educating students, residents, and fellows in their core educational objectives in maternal fetal medicine.
- Research: Initiate research projects, provide leadership and mentoring to MFM Fellows, Ob/Gyn residents, and medical students engaged in research, and contribute to scholarly publications/presentations.
- Service: Serve on departmental, hospital, and university committees as necessary, and participate in professional activities in the field.
- Clinical: Participate fully in clinical activities, including obstetric clinics, Ob/Gyn ultrasound, and labor and delivery coverage.
