Job Description

Superior Aluminum Castings is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foundry Operator to join our team in Independence, Missouri. As a Foundry Operator, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality parts by inspecting and creating sand molds to form metal castings, operating both manual and automatic molding machines, and identifying and addressing any defects in the molds.

Responsibilities

As a Foundry Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and creating sand molds to form metal castings
  • Operating both manual and automatic molding machines
  • Identifying and addressing any defects in the molds
  • Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve production goals

Requirements

To be successful as a Foundry Operator, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. citizenship or documented residency
  • Be 18+ years old
  • The ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time
