Job Summary

The Recruiter is a key member of the Carl Buddig and Company team, responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to support the company's growth and success. This role requires a strong understanding of the company's values and culture, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to meet business needs, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute adaptable and flexible recruiting plans, including sourcing, pre-qualifying, and closing offers with selected candidates.
  • Track results and ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage candidate onboarding and orientation, including ongoing communication, interview itineraries, and candidate follow-up.
  • Post positions for hourly and salary roles, and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
  • Work closely with staffing agencies to fill open positions and provide weekly reports to the Talent Acquisition manager.
  • Collaborate with HR on orientations and start dates, and follow established hiring practices.
  • Perform HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance, and complete conversions with temporary labor.
  • E-Verify all new hires and track hours accumulated by temporary employees.
  • Responsible for entering new hires in the headcount report and maintaining the temp list.
  • Activate and make security cards for new hires, and track employee referral programs.
  • Attend offsite job fairs as needed and post openings in other partnership websites.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years' working experience, preferably in manufacturing and/or with a staffing agency.
  • ATS experience (Jobvite, iCIMS, or other ATS).
  • Associates and/or bachelor's degree or 1 year of recruiting experience.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish is highly recommended due to the company's workforce.
  • Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • High level of professionalism, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
