Job Title: Registered Nurse Perinatal Services Part-time Nights

Lake Granbury Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Perinatal Services team on a part-time basis, working nights. Our 8-bed LDRP unit is equipped with 1 OR and 8 LDRP rooms, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for our nurses.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Perinatal Services department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring laboring patients, assisting with deliveries, administering medications, and implementing safety and infection control measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor laboring patients and provide individualized care
  • Assist with the delivery of infants and provide post-delivery care
  • Administer IV medications, anesthesia, and pain management medications as needed
  • Implement safety and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Continuously educate patients and families on their care and treatment
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing
  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
  • At least two years of experience in a Perinatal Services setting
  • BLS and ACLS certification upon hire
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Intermediate and/or Advanced certification
