Deriva Energy, a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Wind Technician to join our team at our Ledyard Wind Farm location in Lakota, Iowa.

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our wind turbine maintenance team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our wind turbines. The successful candidate will have a strong background in wind turbine maintenance, repair, and operations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Lead a team of technicians to complete routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on wind turbines
• Interact with customers and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide technical support
• Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
• Perform complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on wind turbines and associated equipment
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal turbine performance
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and maintenance

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in wind energy or a related field preferred
• At least 6 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance, repair, and operations
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
