Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis services.
Responsibilities:- Assist in performing dialysis on patients with kidney disorders, ensuring proper operation of the dialysis machine and providing care after the procedure.
- Monitor the dialysis machine during procedures to ensure proper operation and make adjustments as needed.
- Prepare patients for dialysis, including cleaning and disinfecting the dialysis area and equipment.
- Provide education to patients and their families on dialysis procedures and care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an approved training program in dialysis technology within 18 months of employment.
- Certification under a state certification program or a national commercially available certification program (NNCC, BONENT, or NNCO) within 18 months of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
