Shelby Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Alabaster, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scanner Operator, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Job Summary:

Perform diagnostic CT procedures using advanced radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provide quality care to patients of all ages, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Complete established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Complete required exams and send studies to the reading station for radiologist review.
  • Complete all associated documentation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years of experience.
  • Required: ARRT (R) certification, documentation of CT training and experience, and BLS certification.
