Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

At Country Garden Inn & Suites, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and monitor the work performance of housekeeping staff to ensure compliance with hotel standards and productivity levels.
  • Assume all housekeeping manager functions in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.
  • Oversee the closing of floors at the end of the day, ensuring that room attendant carts are clean and restocked.
  • Ensure accurate records of daily assignments are completed and submitted on time.
  • Maintain key control and handle lost and found items according to hotel standards.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and orderliness of room attendant carts, linen closets, control closets, stairways, and landings.
  • Oversee the daily assignment of duties, ensuring that housekeeping staff and house attendants carry a work assignment.
  • Communicate effectively with the front office and engineering teams throughout the shift.
  • Report on the progress of out-of-order rooms under the housekeeping department's supervision.
  • Initiate work orders for repairs and maintenance and follow through until completion.
  • Assist with the training of housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure the completion of cleaning projects on a biannual basis.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with employees and guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
