**Job Title:** Dietetic Clerk

At Sheppard Pratt, we are seeking a skilled Dietetic Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for performing various clerical duties to support the effective operations of the Food Services department.

**Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for an individual who can organize patient/resident menus to ensure accuracy of order and timeliness of meal service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for data entry, including routine typing and word processing of reports, memos, and forms.

  • This role involves maintaining logs and files, producing meal tickets, nourishment labels, and production tallies for patient/resident menus. The Dietetic Clerk will also serve as a receptionist and respond to interdepartmental telephone inquiries.

  • Additionally, this position requires filling in as a Food Service Worker as needed, which may include setting up food and service areas, assisting with food preparation, serving, food delivery, and maintaining cleanliness of areas and equipment.

**Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required for this role. 3 to 6 months of clerical or related work experience is preferred.

  • The ideal candidate must be able to operate a computer, photocopier, and other office equipment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a wide variety of internal staff and external contacts.

**Salary Range:** $40,000 - $55,000 per year
