We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Medicine and Surgery team at Marshfield Clinic Health System. As a CNA, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and contribute to achieving patient and family outcomes.

Job Summary:

  • The Certified Nursing Assistant works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the patient/family care plan to collect patient information and provide direct patient care.
  • As a member of the direct care team, the CNA is responsible for complete and accurate collection and recording of data, completion of routine and delegated direct patient care activities, and communicating and collaborating with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect patient information and provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Contribute to achieving patient and family outcomes as a member of the direct care team.
  • Complete and accurate collection and recording of data.
  • Completion of routine and delegated direct patient care activities.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
  • A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire is required.
