Nurse Apprentice

Career Opportunity:

Citizens Memorial Hospital is seeking a motivated and dedicated Nurse Apprentice to join our team. As a Nurse Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of areas, including Long-Term Care, Hospital, Home Care/Hospice, and Clinics.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient care duties, including assisting with patient assessment, performing patient activities of daily living, and responding promptly to patient/staff requests for assistance.
Assist with or perform patient activities, including linen changes, labeling/transport of specimens, and documenting in patient records.
Participate in the management of patient's personal belongings and assist with the management of patient's care.

Requirements:

Enrollment in a State Board Certified Nursing Program and in their final two or final semester of the nursing program.
Ability to work 12 hours per month (not to include clinical time) and remain current on BLS certification.
Completion of employee quarterly Healthstream assignments and SAFE training within 1 year.
