Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team at Sacred Heart Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, including arranging for necessary equipment and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an orthopedic setting preferred.
