Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, the Resident Transition Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless transition for new residents into our community. This position operates under the guidance of the Executive Director and encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the move-in experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the principles and established protocols of American House Senior Living Communities.
- Facilitate effective communication with the Leadership team regarding marketing strategies, occupancy rates, and community engagement.
- Support the execution of marketing initiatives designed to attract prospective residents.
- Engage in community outreach efforts to build relationships and promote our services.
- Establish and maintain positive connections with potential residents and their families.
- Ensure that model suites are presented in an inviting and well-maintained manner.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports as required.
- Send thoughtful correspondence to both prospective residents and current residents who may be hospitalized.
- Verify that suites are prepared for new residents in accordance with established standards.
- Conduct tours for prospective residents when needed.
- After move-in, review meal options, activity schedules, housekeeping services, and transportation arrangements with new residents.
- Confirm that new residents are included in the housekeeping schedule.
- Ensure new residents are familiar with the Life Enrichment Calendar.
- Check in with new residents after their first week to address any questions or concerns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the community's operations.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills with a genuine compassion for older adults.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to perform essential duties effectively, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities.
