OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Texas.
Job Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and comfortable imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media and other medications as required for imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed to perform imaging procedures.
