Job Summary:
This CT Radiology Tech role offers an excellent opportunity for radiologic technologists to advance their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various imaging exams, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and providing outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging exams using CT scanners, following strict protocols and safety guidelines.
- Position patients accurately, select correct technical parameters, and implement radiation protection standards.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within approved scopes of practice and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records, submitting high-quality images to PACS, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agency standards.
Requirements:
- Completion of a radiology certification program or registration in radiology.
- No experience required, but previous experience in CT imaging is advantageous.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography certification within 12 months of hire.
- ARRT-R Radiography certification.
