Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pain Management Specialist to assist our medical team in providing exceptional patient care. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting various providers, recording medical histories, scheduling appointments, and performing standard care procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare medical rooms for providers
  • Prepare injectables and medications
  • Stock rooms
  • Order supplies
  • Chart in EMR system
  • Scribe for provider(s)
  • Scan and fax documents
  • Answer phones as needed
  • Schedule appointments in EMR system
  • Administer IM injections
  • Perform blood draws

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • New graduates welcome; 1+ years of related work experience preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA) preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
  • Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
