The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all operations comply with safety and environmental regulations, including the Management of Change process, while adhering to quality standards set by various regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production processes, planning, and maintenance within the chemical mixing and mechanical repair sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security regulations in collaboration with the EHS&S Coordinator and Corporate EHS&S leadership.
  • Work alongside the Site Director to establish production schedules that align with internal objectives and customer expectations, while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise all aspects of chemical mixing, mechanical repairs, and team management, including recruitment and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Site Director and Corporate HR to allocate resources effectively.
  • Coordinate with the Site Quality Assurance Manager to guarantee that all products meet industry and regulatory quality standards.
  • Enforce personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements in line with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Lead production planning meetings as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility.
  • Engage with R&D and Commercial teams to ensure adherence to the management of change process and participate in design reviews.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Corporate Finance to meet cost targets related to operational expenses and capital budgets.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities and capital improvements comply with all relevant standards.
  • Conduct investigations for any safety or quality incidents.
  • Utilize OE Suites for change management and incident reporting.
  • Employ ERP systems for procurement processes.
  • Develop training programs in partnership with Corporate EHS&S to enhance team capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in chemical mixing is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, though significant practical experience in chemical plant management may be considered.
  • Prior management experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with production planning, process optimization, and project management is required.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and capable of navigating various software systems.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, written) and the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, and able to foster positive relationships with customers.
