Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing monthly and quarterly price changes, ensuring prices are created using approved business rules and logic. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and modify pricing structures as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement monthly and quarterly price changes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and modify pricing structures as needed
  • Analyze performance of current pricing strategies and make recommendations to optimize pricing rules
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of price optimization tools and models
  • Research applicable techniques and develop pricing models
  • Gather and leverage market and competitive price information to support pricing decisions
  • High-level interaction with Merchandising and Sales teams in developing optimal pricing on shared offers
  • Perform price change impact analysis and overall account/segment profitability assessments
  • Analyze pricing performance and make pricing recommendations to Sales and Pricing leadership
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to identify pricing challenges and facilitate issue resolution
  • Develop, apply, advise, and train team members in analytical best practices
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Preferred experience in PROS and Data Warehouse tools
  • Python experience is a plus
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to extract information and insights from multiple data sources
  • Strong process and control experience and aptitude
  • Strong commercial skills and understanding of channel economics
