HIGHLAND EXPRESS SHUTTLE is actively searching for a dependable Van Operator to become a part of our dedicated workforce.

  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 25 years old.
  • Location Requirement: Must reside in Decatur, IL.
  • Employment Type: Part-Time Van Operator.
  • Veterans Prep: Yes.
  • Vehicle Utilized: 15-passenger Ford E350 van.
  • Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday with a commitment of one to four trips monthly.
  • Route Details: Responsible for transporting Military Applicants to Navy Basic Training.
  • Employee Benefits: 401K, Workers Compensation, Dental and Vision coverage, Vacation time, and Year-End Bonuses (eligibility after 90 days).
  • Training Program: Two days of training at $15.00 per hour, with an optional third day. Pay increases to $15/hr post-training, with opportunities for raises after 90 days.
  • Payment Schedule: Direct deposit on the 1st to 15th at the end of the month and 16th to 30th (or 31st) on the 15th of the following month.
  • Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, clean Motor Vehicle Record, Police Record Check, drug screening, and successful completion of a DOT physical (company covered). CDL is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Key Responsibilities: Safely transport Military Applicants; the company provides the vehicle, maintenance, fuel, and a mobile phone.
