Position Overview:

About the Company:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead nutrition services in specialized areas, dedicating at least 70% of your efforts to areas such as NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, geriatrics, and outpatient services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional status and maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
  • Mentor and train staff and interns in patient/resident services as necessary.
  • Promote teamwork and develop innovative programs that enhance clinical nutrition and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while upholding patient confidentiality and rights.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and quality assurance programs.


Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a specialized area.
  • Specialty certification when applicable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
