Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Saint Joseph Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team, you will assist Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, and Vascular Surgeons in performing cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation of c-arm radiation equipment and provide radiation protection
  • Prepare sterile fields and function as scrub assist and hemodynamic monitor
  • Knowledgeable regarding prep and use of current devices in Cath Lab/IR/Endovascular inventory
  • Provide patient and family education related to procedure and cardiovascular disease risk factors
  • Assist nursing staff in all aspects of patient care and report deviations to nurse leader
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Licensed Medical Radiographer: MRAD:KY
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR, RCES, RCIS)
  • AHA Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS-CPR) – within 5 days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - within 6 months
