Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente's Glenlake Medical Offices. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standard radiographic procedures in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by accurately assessing their needs and providing patient education.
  • Perform radiographic and/or fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
  • Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images.
  • Perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images.
  • Enter and properly complete all patient information, including exam charges and supplies, into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and/or other KP application.
  • Prepare films for interpretation by the radiologist in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
  • Follow department procedures, policies, and regulations, including safety measures in radiography and adherence to universal precautions, infection control guidelines, and sterile technique.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of experience as a Radiological Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  • General knowledge of EH&S, OSHA, DHR, Radiation Safety and Protection.
  • Basic PC skills, including keyboarding and navigation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Work Environment

This part-time position is located at Kaiser Permanente's Glenlake Medical Offices in Atlanta, Georgia. The scheduled weekly hours are 24, with a day shift and a Monday-to-Wednesday work schedule. The pay range is $34.29 per hour.
