About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Porter/Valet to join our team at DARCARS Automotive Group. As a Porter/Valet, you will play a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and the overall success of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet every customer with a smile, conduct business in a professional and ethical manner, and direct customers to their desired destinations when parking or retrieving their vehicles.
  • Service Support: Assist with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles, assist advisors and technicians by moving client vehicles to and from the shop, and provide shuttle service to customers when requested.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of service area, keep floor clean and dry, remove debris, ice, and snow as necessary, and responsible for garbage removal.
  • Dealer Exchanges: Assist in dealer exchanges and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees.
  • Customer Service Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
  • Education: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, must have visual acuity that meets Maryland MVA requirements to operate company and customer vehicles, and ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background).
