Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Utilize radiology information systems to facilitate patient care
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients to ensure understanding
  • Operate imaging equipment to complete procedures according to protocol
  • Review patient images for diagnostic quality
  • Perform quality control procedures and notify/remediate as necessary
  • Assist in departmental operations, including inventory, staff schedules, and equipment maintenance
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited CT Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Louisiana CT Tech state license
  • One year of Epic experience
