Job Summary

Hirebridge Organic is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team of medical professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during imaging exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures from defined protocols, using a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
  • Collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic information, and use your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate results.
  • Maintain equipment in working order, report equipment malfunctions to supervisor, and ensure that all necessary medical and radiologic supplies are stocked.
  • Enter procedures on the superbill and complete pending radiologic procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Import and burn CDs as needed for physicians and patients, and maintain examination rooms in a clean and organized manner.
  • Escort patients to and from waiting rooms and exam rooms, and attend meetings and seminars as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA guidelines at all times.
Requirements
  • Certification as a radiologic technologist is required, as well as a strong understanding of x-ray procedures and protocols.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential, as well as the ability to analyze situations and develop solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as a passion for patient care and a fun, team-oriented attitude.
  • Reliable transportation is required, and a minimum of 1 year experience in X-ray is preferred.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent contact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare personnel. The role requires the ability to work in a clinical environment, with exposure to radiation and the need to maintain the strictest confidentiality and adherence to HIPPA guidelines.
