About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week Nuclear Medicine Technologist travel assignment with a reputable healthcare organization in Lexington, KY. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing various medical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is preferred.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills.
  • Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, moving equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, and bending.
