Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver building materials safely and efficiently using a company vehicle.
  • Assist yard personnel with loading and unloading of trucks and receiving materials.
  • Operate yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
  • Expedite the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
  • Receive and carry out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
  • Complete pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites.
  • Deliver material to jobsites and customers in a safe and efficient manner according to safety guidelines established.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interested in company-sponsored training.
  • Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, valid driver's license, and ability to complete company-sponsored training program while working as a material handler.
