Taxation Specialist

At Steven R Deviese CPA, PA, we seek a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing federal, state, or local tax returns for individuals, business establishments, or other organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine accounts and records to compute taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.
• Prepare forms for tax refunds and advise management on strategies for minimizing tax liability.
• Ensure organization compliance with taxing authority requirements and represent the organization before taxing associations.
• Organize and maintain tax records and conduct tax studies and special projects.
• Provide expert tax advice to support business growth and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Appropriate certifications with 3-5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Creative Solutions is a plus.
