Key Responsibilities:
The Radiology Services Manager is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the department, ensuring the safety of both patients and staff. This role includes directing all human resource functions within the department, overseeing training and competency assessments, and maintaining safe staffing levels. The Manager is tasked with developing and managing the departmental budget to align with organizational and patient safety goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Continuous monitoring of departmental performance indicators and quality improvement activities is essential, with reporting responsibilities as directed. The Manager may also perform radiology technologist duties as necessary to support departmental needs.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate's Degree, with a preference for graduates of an AMA accredited radiologic technology program.
- Specialized training in any imaging modality is required.
- Supervisory experience across all medical imaging functions is essential.
- Prior experience as a radiology technologist or in Nuclear Medicine/other modalities is necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA is mandatory.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards is required.
Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, encompassing wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, ranges from $40.00 to $54.60. The exact starting compensation will be determined during the hiring process, considering various factors such as skillset, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
