About the Role

The Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead the development of next-generation NOVA metrology systems, working closely with a team of mechanical engineers in the Hardware Engineering organization. This role will involve interfacing with multifunctional groups to ensure smooth development and deployment of new product solutions and capabilities, as well as supporting ongoing product improvement and next-generation platform development.

Nova Ltd. is a leading innovator and key provider of metrology solutions for advanced process control used in semiconductor manufacturing. Our products are used in-line by leading chip foundries and original equipment manufacturers. Nova's technology serves critical sectors of patterning, thin film deposition, CMP, and diffusion in leading logic and memory fabs worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of mechanical design activities, from small component improvement to new platform definitions.
  • Supervise a team of mechanical engineers, assign, schedule, and track their tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
  • Interface with vendors and suppliers for product release and prototype development.
  • Oversee the workflow of the HW release process and represent Mechanical Engineering in the Hardware Change Control Board.
  • Participate in conceptual and detailed design work, vendor development, and supplier management.
Requirements
  • BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Experience in complex system design, vendor management, and product release.
  • Previous experience with Semiconductor Capital Equipment a plus.
