Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and evaluate the oral condition of patients upon admission and at periodic intervals
  • Perform diagnostic, preventive, restorative, periodontic, endodontic, prosthodontics, adjunctive, and emergency dental procedures
  • Referral of specialized orthodontic and complex treatment to community specialists
  • Direct the clinical activities of ancillary dental personnel
  • Assist in completion and submission of monthly and annual dental activity reports
  • Provide dental health education on an individual and group basis
  • Provide care and maintenance of dental equipment, direction of infection control procedures, and elimination of biohazards within the dental operatory

Requirements:

  • Current Wisconsin licensure in Dentistry or licensure in another state with eligibility to obtain Wisconsin licensure by time of appointment
  • Experience applying the theory, principles, and practice of general dentistry
  • Performing required dental procedures
  • Guiding, monitoring, and evaluating the work of ancillary dental personnel
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with associate personnel and services
  • Current BLS certification prior to appointment to the position

Working Conditions:

This position requires a 24-hour workweek with variable shifts. The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background and NPBD checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new employees are subject to fingerprinting.
