Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our emergency department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
