About the Role

Housing Development Corporation MidAtlantic is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of units for new residents, including cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure the longevity of our properties.
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to oversee maintenance contracts, schedule contracted work, and complete capital expense projects.
  • Participate in 24/7 emergency maintenance coverage on a rotating schedule.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, boilers, and HVAC systems.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Current driver's license.
