Summary/Objective

The Fleet Maintenance Specialist is responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems and camera equipment. This role also involves performing preventative maintenance and light servicing for the fleet. The technician will carry out maintenance-related tasks as necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Uphold Pipe View, LLC's core values, mission, and initiatives.
  • Conduct repairs on vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and fix industrial camera systems, including electronic components.
  • Liaise with the Fleet department regarding camera repair requirements.
  • Manage inventory of camera repair materials.
  • Record completed repairs.
  • Update records and inventory for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
  • Organize vehicle and equipment repairs to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Transport vehicles or equipment to and from repair sites.
  • Perform oil changes, replace air filters, and conduct minor vehicle repairs.
  • Participate in meetings with senior management.
  • Execute related tasks as needed.

The company will provide a vehicle equipped with tools and training for camera repairs.

Work Environment / Physical Demands / Location

The technician will be required to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods, which may lead to muscle strain. Occasional lifting of supplies and materials may be necessary. Travel to various job sites may be required. We are committed to fostering a positive and adaptable work environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time role. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours may be necessary based on business needs.

Competencies

  • Strong manual dexterity
  • Experience in repairing electronic devices
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Proficient in soldering
  • Skilled in using small power tools
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics
  • Minimum of 4 years in mechanical repair.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. CDL license is a plus.
  • Proven ability to achieve results while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
