Job Summary

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved technique and ALARA limits, ensuring accurate and safe imaging for patients.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, providing instruction to patients and utilizing aseptic techniques to assist interventional radiologists.
  • Consistently provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to procedures and reviewing physicians' orders.
  • Provide instruction and assist in training new staff or student radiologic technologists, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Ensure accurate inventory supply par levels for all Interventional products utilized, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient department.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) and licensed by the State of New Jersey DEP.
  • CPR certification required.
