Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using radionuclides.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including imaging, non-imaging, and function studies, to diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and proper storage.
  • Operate and maintain complex equipment, including gamma cameras and dose calibrators.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures, including radiation doses and imaging results.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine technology program.
  • 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably with Philips equipment.
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry certification.
  • SCRQSA license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spect/CT imaging.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and database management.
  • Mathematical skills, including radiation safety calculations.
