We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Manager/Director - RN to join our team at Berlin Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care for assigned nursing units.
- Ensure that patient care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Berlin Health and Rehabilitation Center and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing units.
- Manage human resources in assigned units, including limiting the use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
