Alro Steel Corporation is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and supplies to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, metal saws, shears, and lasers to prepare and fill material orders for shipment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve exceptional customer service and meet production goals.
- Participate in extensive training programs to develop skills and knowledge in material handling and logistics.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Commitment to safety and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
