Medical Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our RHEUMATOLOGY Department at Aspirus Plaza Dr Clinic in Wausau, WI. As a member of our care team, you will perform a variety of clinic tasks, utilizing your knowledge of patient care standards and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks as directed by the clinic team, utilizing your training and competence.
  • Work in a fast-paced clinic setting, providing excellent patient care and support.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of patient care standards and practices, typically acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program.
  • Two to three years of healthcare and/or customer service experience, preferred.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
