Physical Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The ideal candidate will possess a current license and registration to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of NY, along with malpractice insurance and a good standing license.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will assist in planning, organizing, developing, and implementing Physical Therapy services that meet the highest standards of quality care for our residents. This includes interpreting and instructing physical therapy policies and procedures to personnel, residents, family members, etc., as necessary. You will also participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments (MDS), etc., as necessary.
You will have the opportunity to work independently and in a team environment, using your excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills to provide extraordinary compassionate care as a Physical Therapist. Requirements- Must possess a current license and registration to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of NY.
- Must possess current malpractice insurance and a license in good standing.

- Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC.
