Lane Valente Industries, a leading international construction and facility maintenance company, is seeking a skilled traveling carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our in-house group of field technicians, you will have the opportunity to work on top-notch commercial construction projects across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform commercial renovations and buildouts, including carpentry, painting, and flooring installation
- Utilize basic computer skills to document work and communicate with customers
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and maintain a safe working environment
- Develop strong relationships with customers through effective communication and presentation skills
- Provide detailed documentation of repairs, including measurements, pictures, and recommendations
- Work overtime and/or on-call as needed to meet project demands
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance
- Proficiency in carpentry, including partition framing, metal/wood studs, and basic cabinetry/countertops installation
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, including replacement/installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and light fixtures
- OSHA 10hr certification or completion within 3 months of employment
- Supply basic construction hand tools
